  • It is not for tourists, even though they sell it as that "Everyone arrives", the road is hard, very demanding and always on the 4.000 msnm. It is not suitable for travelling with children, either with little proper apparel (do not go if you go with sneakers without coconut, shoes, tacos, etc.) since they will be dangerous especially in the downhill. But if you have resistance to height and have good condition physics you will spend it very well. You get on a path of Earth, stones, mud and mud to the base of the mountain where you can find snow, according to the contracted service you can reach the same snow and find a safe place to "play" resbalandose, etc., but always with the help of a guide that up there cracks dangerous that does not distinguish them at a glance. If they are friends spot, they will indeed be some that don't end up rising, in this case it is better to stay in a place where the return can locate them, for example in the area which makes the payment to the Earth. I pass it very well.

  • Beautiful snow which means "place where flowers are collected", which can be seen from the Valley of the Mantaro in quecha, you can make trips to reach its peak and so appreciate the beautiful lakes that form around this mountain, part of the Cordillera of the Andes.

  • For me this experience was amazing! 4 hours walking uphill and 2 hours of descent. The route we take to rise (long path) allowed us to see beautiful lakes and the beautiful snow-covered to reach. It was really amazing to be in the middle of the mountains. I the volveriaa do. However, there are things to consider. If you are in good physical condition and you like trekking, this experience is for you, but if you're not trained, better not go because the path is too demanding. In my group we were 19, but 2 of the tourists were not trained and had a very, very bad: they could not breathe, they were purple and frozen, they could not give a single step. Happily the Guide behaved wonderfully and it helped them a lot, in fact, the entire group helped them. I think it is very irresponsible to go without being trained. Something that I also recommend is trekking, gloves and protective for poncho type rain sticks, and never deviate from the Guide.
