Tropical Adventures & Expeditions Reviews
Unfortunately the tour was not what Reynall and I agreed on. First, we agreed on an English speaking guide, this was not the case. I was expecting that I had Reynall was going to be my tourguide, but.... more »

I am very lucky to meet Reynel in Iquitos. He exactly knew what i want to do. Real jungle expirience is that what we did. Six days deep in the jungle, sleeping in the tents, walking in the primary... more »
Reynel Cahuaza is a swindler, do not enter this site that offers tours, is expensive and also does not meet the expectations, if you are a foreigner avoids at all costs to use this agency of tourism, I say it wholeheartedly. Don't come here.
An incredible experience, unique and authentic in the midst of the Amazon rainforest. Far from the signposted trails and tourists, right in the heart of the natural reserve of Pacaya Samiria. It's a whole program we decided to do in four days and three nights. We fished and ate piranhas, spotted monkeys, sloths, parrots, toucans, kingfishers, frogs, dolphins, turtles, a caiman... (The list is still great), we learned a lot about trees and their usefulness (medicine, rubber...). Our guide to the local community of Buenos Aires was really good and his sharp eye allowed us to see a lot of species in their natural environment and to learn a lot about the use of the forest by the locals. The organization was impeccable thanks to Reynel, who takes care of absolutely everything and very good food. You have to know that it is a total expedition. Forget any idea of comfort: sleeping in a tent in the forest, no toilets/showers, mosquitoes and insects at times, sounds and sounds incredible and food prepared in conditions away from a starry restaurant. Nevertheless, it is a unique experience that we highly recommend, if traveling to the roots does not pose a problem. Still have a flashlight/front and a pharmacy kit. Again thank you Reynel for this expedition in the jungle!
I love their friendly people with good service, the panoramic views and nature is the maximum
Great adventure with Reynel, we were only 2 visitors from 4 days with him. We have seen all the animals that we wanted to see (dolphins, snakes, monkeys, piranha, alligators, migales, parrots, etc.) even if there is an element of luck in this expedition. He should know that the jungle is not a zoo and it's really hard to see animals in their natural habitat. Our 4 days were authentic with showers in the Amazon, meals prepared by his mom and travel by canoe... Do not expect too much of your trip in the Amazon jungle and you will be pleasant surprised as we were with my Austrian Sidekick. I sincerely recommend this guide who has done everything for us! A simple example, we wanted to fish with a spinning as locals do, Reynel managed to find fishermen and we were able to fish 10 fish 20 minutes to then eat at these parents where we slept all night. In short an unforgettable experience!
I booked the Amazon tour with Reynel for 4 days 3 nights. A great experience! Just awesome what we could do and saw! Day 1 With the tuk tuk we went to the harbour from there with Reynel's own boat up the Amazon about 40 km, on the drive we could admire river dolphins and the beautiful amazonas. A small side arm of the amazona went on with the canoe and paddle. Towards the afternoon we arrived in our camp, there was an extensively good meal with rice, fruits, fish, vegetables. Day 2 After breakfast we went trekking into the jungle with a 2nd guide named Onias, our guide explained everything about the plants and much more, we saw monkeys, ants, birds and a sloth. In the evening there was again extensive food prepared by a lovely elderly lady (Reynels Mama) and a good river shower in the Amazon. Day 3 The day started as usual with a delicious breakfast with everything the jungle gives. Continue hanging with homemade fishing for fishing. We have fished piranhas, have been swimming in the Amazon, we were also lucky enough to be able to see and touch a boa constrictor and a caiman up close, after this great experience we have looked at a local community. In this small village there was a tiny bar with beer, which we didn't miss. In the afternoon we were allowed to fish with local fishermen and caught more than 8 large fish in the evening we went back to the camp where the caught fish was prepared for us. After the meal there was still a big campfire, really cozy and satisfied we went to sleep. Day 4 After breakfast, we have said goodbye to our lovely hostess and are on by boat to the affe island, there we could experience playing with monkeys they up close. It was just a dream. We stayed there until 4 o 'clock in the afternoon, after that the end of the trip came closer and we set off by boat back to iquitos. On the way back we had enormous luck again and could see pink river dolphins! A great end after 4 days and 3 nights with Reynel and our lovely hostess. The food was excellent, we were able to meet all our expectations, Reynel our guide was very flexible we could choose our program freely. All in all, it was a great experience and worth the money! Thank you Reynel for this extraordinary experience!
