  • We had no idea there were so many indigenous tribes in the Amazon and that they would be so different. The clearly labelled display cases were fascinating - particularly the local crafts.  more »

  • It’s small. It’s in a two floor house. It’s not like any modern elegant museum. But this is one of the most impressive small museums I have ever visited. I did not plan to spent much time there but ended with three hours. It’s interesting to go through EVERY piece of information displayed there. A true museum in the sense that teaches me something if not everything about the people have lived in the Amazon rainforest basin.
  • If you are looking for clothing from the different tribes in the Amazon jungle this is the place to visit.
  • The staff was really helpfull and the museum was also well equiped and interesting.
  • Lots of information and artifacts from Amazonian tribes. Very interesting, and the English explanations are on point. Highly recommend.
  • Very interesting. It provides very good information.
