  • The Complex is beautiful, we hired a guide for a better experience, as there is enough to know and walk, so the walk is more orderly, it is well maintained. The attraction is the pink dolphin, and in general the flora and fauna of the Amazon. The lagoon was very nice. There are restaurants for lunch

  • Iquitos is already in hell. You are in the Amazon and Iquitos is a point right in the middle. Around 50000 steaming motorcycles and petaradentes are constantly rotating in an infernal circle. The air is unbreathable. The only bus exit is Quistococha, the zoo. There, for those who are sensitive to the animal condition, this becomes pathetic. Rest that you breathe a pleasant air and can even bathe in the lagoon. Especially do not go on the weekend... Mind your own business. The price by bus is 2 soles. The zoo is 10 soles for foreigners. Imagine in France a price for French and another, superior, for foreigners. The scandal! Flee from Iquitos, it is unsanitary. The rivers are beautiful!

  • A little away from Iquitos, the place has a reasonable zoo, if anyone wants to go to the jungle and see animals at the zoo. and an artificial "beach" in a pond. Expendable

  • This place is horrible! Sad, dirty, depressing and disgusting... Animal are held in terrible conditions... Wild cats, birds and monkeys on a cement floor in 2x2m cages with no place to hide from people or sun. Garbage, plastic bottles, plastic bags INSIDE habitats. 25cm long fish in 50cm long aquarium... Everything is wrong with this place, stairs and cages are falling apart, nails sticking out from everywhere, smells with rotten and death... There is nobody keeping an eye on what is going on, people are putting fingers inside cages, trying to 'touch the monkey' feeding the jaguar... It's madness! We spent there 20min running and almost crying, had to leave as fast as possible. Hope it will get closed, horrible, horrible place...
  • Great recreational location. Pass through the Zoo on the way to Tunchi beach. Quistococha is a man made lake and recreational site but you would never kmow it. Nice beach for swimming, they have small boat rentals, with oars or pedal boats. Fun for the whole family. And several local restaurants for dining. Set aside a whole day for this great location.
  • You can check good view of jungle animals! And have a good time!
  • Nice place when you can see wild animals
  • Nice place
