With a history dating back to the 16th century, Tacama remains one of the best places to visit if you wish to find out about the local winemaking traditions. Take in the views of the vineyards from the top of the hacienda's main building, listening to the guide discuss the history of winemaking at this facility. Learn about the techniques used to harvest the grapes and turn them into bottled spirits, and discover just how the methods have changed over the years. Sample pisco--Peru's national spirit--made here along with a range of wines. Stop by the onsite restaurant to see how wines can be paired with tasty local dishes.
