  • I've been with my wife in August in Peru and the Laguna 69 in our itinerary, 1 day before we had known the Pastoruri Glacier to aid in acclimatization because we would be 2 days in Huaraz, at no time did we had a pretty tough time due to the altitude, but I think in Cusco by the fact we walk a lot the city helped a lot in the preparation of this great challenge. Honestly I had no idea it would be so hard, but for Brazilians who are going to this place, I recommend that you make a physical and mental preparation before the adventure especially for those who are not athletes, as our case. The sights along the way are beautiful, impressive, film scenario, but the walk to Laguna 69 is very tense, very tiring, it was the greatest experience of overcoming effort that my wife and I had until today to reach the lagoon is a beautiful setting but at the same time is very hard to get to this place and maybe leads us to wonder if it was worth it Anyway, for me it was worth because of the overshoot and the wonderful landscapes are the eyes in that magical place. Recommend physical and mental preparation before this challenge, acclimate with a walk to the Glacier and in Cusco walk enough, recommend coca leaf and if you are as a couple both need to be on the same wavelength, giving strength to the other because it is challenging, to the unsuspecting is not an easy ride.

  • The rating for the place is 11 / 10. The best landscape that I've seen at the moment in my 19 years of life. Nature at its best. A cannot miss on your visit to the Peru; trekking includes a great physical effort, it is not to "scare", but it is definitely not for anyone the almost 6 hours of walking between ida and coming, you have to go prepared to endure such an adventure. Preferable without much weight, only necessary, should be noted that it is permissible to make camping at the site, although obviously it depends on the climate of the time. The most advisable is to go between the months of April - October since in those months no rain. The city has a very good atmosphere, with an average 15° C maybe climate. Due to his dedication to tourism, there is much selection with very affordable prices for backpackers. Laguna 69 is a marvel, missing eyes to so much beauty. It rewards all the possible hike times. -@aronjtorresr-
