  • After entering the Huascaran National Park and to the magnificent lagoon 69, you get to climb 4,650 meters above the sea level on an almost always precipitous road. You recommend that carry much water or any drink hydrating (not energizing), snacks how bars of chocolate, granola, almonds and clothes very comfortable although warm. The experts in trekking can take 1:30 or 2 hours in upload. For us that we have a basic physical fitness we could take up to 4 hours up at our own pace; that Yes, between more rate hikes more going to be tired, so I recommend you do rest breaks (2 minutes rest, 1 walking after you've passed the Black Lagoon). Be careful on the road. It is one wonderful experience both physical, mental and spiritual. To the end, the landscape and the nature are worth all the effort that you did.

  • Absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen in my life, I can't even describe! But the way to get it is very difficult and it's nice to go prepared, bring water and light foods to go eating during the journey. I had no idea that the track would be so difficult but I managed to finish. I took 3:10 to climb and 2:20 to go down. I advise you not to make the trail alone for just in case something like bad fall and something. But the ride is amazing, beautiful and super recommend. But it's pretty tiring. Recommend also reach the city well in advance to get used to the altitude, it will make a lot of difference in the time of the ascent. Take coca leaves for case pass badly, isn't it good but it helps. I had a little headache, so when I was starting I chewed a little coke and soon spent. Be careful also with the heartbeat, if you don't feel well go stopping and take the time that is required to complete the route. The descent requires even more attention as there are very slime, water, rocks and slippery places. Also recommend go with clothes for both cold and heat, because along the way gets hot and it gets cold. And also with non-slip shoes and a raincoat.
