  • We did Trek in Fiestas Patrias, had enough people so if you are going on long holidays is recommended go very early. As we stayed at a lodge near the National Park of Huascaran, few people could start walking early and had even (who came from Huaraz llegarian at least an hour and half later). Hard walk three hours approx. and always giving back to the majestic Huascaran, rivers and lagoons are on the way, some cattle also pasteando. All landscapes are impressive, from the most beautiful treks in Peru and after several minutes climbing, you reach the famous Laguna 69 with its turquoise and blue colors according to the perspective, at the foot of the Nevado Pisco and Chacraraju. Extreme Sun and cold in the shade, some travelers (most foreigners) are released to its icy waters and others are camping with the appropriate equipment at night you must do too cold...

  • One of the most beautiful trails I've ever done! The course is wonderful, amidst Lakes, snow-capped peaks, waterfalls! Is a heavy track, mainly due to altitude, but be firm and go to the end, because it's worth by visual and sense of resilience. Unforgettable!

  • Tell them a little! Since I was 2 days ago. To go to this beautiful lagoon should go on a tour... unless you have a car. Leaving Huaraz (usually you go to look for your hostel) and goes in the micro to a point where it's called Yungay... is a journey (1 hr.) ... could be done in collective on your own up there... but do not agree... The issue is that after this point, to go to the base where the trek begins until the Lagoon (a place called pampa onion) is all rubble and rises road... and along! A taxi can take you 200 Suns... and sumale the entrance to the Park (now tell them...). The tours typically charge 40, 50, 60.soles... If there are to find and fight the price. Because all offer the same thing. To my gained me 30! You go to yungay. Make you breakfast, do you get to take photos in 2 lagunas.previas and dps go to pampa onion and iniciás rise. The entrance to the Park is separate. For 1 day: - 10 Suns native - 30 foreigners or whatsoever. What more should be is the tour. Of one. LOA tours depart at 5.30 a.m.! There is that book yesterday if or if. The ascent begins type 9... they are average 3 hours of ascent. 1 hour to get there and 2 down. I did it in 2 h 1/2... but I have to admit that the altitude is complicated. It is hard is way... that not say you it... I did quite a few hills in patagonia and this thing re felt haha. Recommend acclimatize and make any trip more light the previous day as the willchacocha lagoon... But the effort is worth it. The landscape is amazing... !!! One of the best places that I was! The turn is already quiet... all down... If there is Sun wear shorts and t-shirt. Lenses. Protective because it's hot on the trail... and then down the same. If there is Sun muucho heat. I I stayed in top ajja. But it depends on... Sometimes it's very cold! So it depends on the day... Bring something to eat to recover... dried fruits, bananas, juice... If you kill the altitude and comés heavy able turn slope... Type 3 microphones out of pampa onion and leave you in huaraz type 5... That's all!! I hope have served it. Do not let it do. It is impressive!

  • Do not miss this place. It’s a good first hike in the altitude as well
  • This is a must if you love trekking. The view is spectacular! You need to do it no questions ask.
  • What a spectacular hike! Everywhere you look is gorgeous. The hike isn't too strenuous unless you're feeling the affects of the altitude. It takes about two hours to get up to the lake and there's plenty of places to escape from the majority of the other hikers. Try to go early because once the busses arrive there are a ton of people on the trail.
  • Absolutely stunning views of Luguna 69. The hike itself can be a little strenuous but if you take your time, you can easily make it. It also starts off a little boring if you've seen other spectacular sites in Peru. Once you start acceding, it is so worth it! The path itself is very clear and there are so many people doing it that you'll have a hard time getting lost.
  • The trek is unbelievablely beautiful. You just have to do it. No questions asked. Don't read to much into articles about how tough it is. Take the guided tour and just go for it. You will find heaven.
