  • A long day of hiking at really high altitude, but well worth it. The lake was just magic and so blue in contrast to everything around it. A hidden gem.  more »
  • We arranged transport with Andean Summit which cost S40 ppn plus an entry of S15 into the National Park. You need to bring water (at least 2 litres), lunch, sun cream and waterproofs. Pick up was 5am ...  more »

  • Do not miss this place. It’s a good first hike in the altitude as well
  • This is a must if you love trekking. The view is spectacular! You need to do it no questions ask.
  • What a spectacular hike! Everywhere you look is gorgeous. The hike isn't too strenuous unless you're feeling the affects of the altitude. It takes about two hours to get up to the lake and there's plenty of places to escape from the majority of the other hikers. Try to go early because once the busses arrive there are a ton of people on the trail.
  • Absolutely stunning views of Luguna 69. The hike itself can be a little strenuous but if you take your time, you can easily make it. It also starts off a little boring if you've seen other spectacular sites in Peru. Once you start acceding, it is so worth it! The path itself is very clear and there are so many people doing it that you'll have a hard time getting lost.
  • The trek is unbelievablely beautiful. You just have to do it. No questions asked. Don't read to much into articles about how tough it is. Take the guided tour and just go for it. You will find heaven.
