I took the wonderful Santa Cruz trek with Quechuandes. Edgar the guide was very experienced, super knowledgeable about plants, animals and history, and he took the group’s safety very seriously. Camilo the cook made some outstanding soups and snacks, as well as filling dinners and lunches, and he had no problem accommodating the vegetarian in the group. Javier the horseman was friendly and clearly cared for his animals. The trek itself had some of the most breathtaking sights I saw in Peru. Highly recommended!

Marie was exceptionally helpful in sorting day trips around Huaraz for us. They included some tours, some private taxis for hikes and advice on where to get collectives for self guided tours. All the little tips on the routes and timings were invaluable.
