Take a dip in a public swimming pool or alternatively soak in your own private bath at Banos Termales de Monterrey. Some believe the waters here help rheumatic and nerve problems, while others simply come to unwind from the bustle of the city or vigorous hiking. Controllable dials in the private baths let you adjust the temperature. Don't worry if you decide to visit on a whim: you can rent towels from the company that runs the baths. Our Huaraz vacation builder app makes visiting Banos Termales de Monterrey and other Huaraz attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

Banos Termales de Monterrey reviews
Warm water, nice area, beautifull wievs. Restaurants and drinks. Cool place to spend some hours chilling out :) more »
I would never tell people to not visit. It's a nice family spot. Great place for an outdoor picnic. But if you're into hot springs... this would be more appropriately termed 'a warm springs'. There... more »
The first time I visited the Baños de Monterrey was in 1979. It was popular, well kept. I was there more recently in May, 2016. It is run down. It wasn't dirty, but has lacked care for the grounds... more »
The place is magical. I recommend going early to be able to enjoy the pool without so many people.
It has a public area and the private area with individual bathrooms or you can also enter in pairs. It is recommended to be 30 minutes approx. with the hot springs, more time is counterproductive.
Picturesque place. Very rich the hot springs but very little time to use.
The Baños de Monterrey are close to the city of Huaraz, you can go on private mobility or by public transport. You have options to enter swimming pools or individual ponds. Each of the options has a prudent time of use (15-20 minutes). The facilities are good, clean and safe. You can access the viewpoint for free, from where you can see beautiful views.
Very quiet place and relaxing, after climbing with my friends we went to the hot springs and loved it; We all went out as new and very tired too 😁, but it was worth it and would return again.
