  • Return to the Lomas de Lachay national reserve after 6 years. The first time I was at the time where there was more vegetation. This time it was no longer so wet but we had a wonderful experience with my family. We made the 3 hour walk and it was very comforting to reach the top and see the entire area of the reserve. It was stunning and we enjoyed it very much. What most surprised us was that at the beginning of the walk we saw a small Fox that ran through an open field, stopped a moment, we look and went on his way. It was very nice to see it. We also saw some birds and small land snails. The reserve has areas for camping and barbeque areas. Missing improvements are the restrooms, the only clean we were those who were close to the entry. As for the food, it is best to carry their own since restaurant dealer supply it is not and cannot be a good service. When go respect them trails established, disposed them waste in the bins for this end and respect to them animals that there live. We promise to return to the time of moisture to enjoy a new walk.

  • You can come on wet season (September) as in dry (December). It offers a completely different landscape in his 2 seasons but if you want to see animals, definitely come in wet season.
