Parque de la Identidad Wanka, Huancayo

Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.3/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web
Visit Parque de la Identidad Wanka and stroll through its intricate paths and statues. The park is designed to represent the culture of the pre-Incan Huanca nation, and is reminiscent of Gaudi’s Guell Park in Barcelona, only in a smaller scale. Walk along pebbled pathways that wind through lush gardens, detailed stone statues, and miniature buildings. Each architectural piece tells a story about the history and folklore of the Huanca people that once lived in the area. The park is constructed entirely of local stones and rocks and boasts detailed patterns as well as interesting sculptures and various plant life. • Only one, a park built by stones, well distributed and where there is history Wanka, with elements that characterize the Mantaro Valley. I recommend to visit the place in the evening to make spectacular pictures.
