Tipon, Cusco
(4.7/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Admire the sophistication of Incan engineering when you travel to Tipon. The ancient civilization once used this temple complex to worship water, the element of central importance to their culture. Some also postulate that it served as a park and for irrigation purposes. Terraces, fountains, and aqueducts run throughout the complex with water still flowing through most of them, imparting a serene atmosphere. Take the Inca trails around the complex to get a good look at the structure. The attraction doesn't tend to get crowded, so you can enjoy your visit at your own pace. • Another archaeological site of Inca period, is just 23 km from Cusco. The tour is suitable for those who want to know more about the masonry of the stones Incas and their construction methods, the placeholders for agriculture for irrigation canals, aqueducts, thermal baths and other temples of worship. I enjoyed visiting with a guide.

  • It remains impressive all that reached to the incas. They took a natural source of water and designed a kind of agricultural laboratory through the installation of terraces and the manipulation of the flow through fall angles. A visit not to be missed
