Categories: Monuments, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
2.8/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web
Climb a hill near the city to see the towering Statue of Christ, an imposing figure overlooking the city and surrounding area. The statue, reminiscent of Rio’s Christ the Redeemer, was a gift from Palestinian Christians in 1945 as a token of gratitude for the kind refuge they received in the city. Admire the white Christ sculpture, which looks upon the city with open arms. Take in the stunning panoramic view and take advantage of photographic opportunities here. A visit to Statue of Christ represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Cusco vacation builder to plot your vacation.
