  • Surrounded by shops, restaurants and other venues, make this square a place you need to visit...

  • Another area of Cusco, is less popular than her famous brothers, but quiet, neat and it does not feel like a tourist, many local families. You can dine in one of the institutions, they are there for good.

  • I found this the most beautiful square of Cusco, the beautiful buildings around, with colonial arches and, at dusk, the numerous bars with candles and indirect light around inviting for a drink are super romantic!

  • The appropriate name for this Plaza given it means Plaza of Rejoicing or Patio of Happiness in Quechua (originally called Cusipata). The ancient Incans would use the Plaza to celebrate community festivals of less serious significance to those observed in the nearby Plaza de Armas (called Aucayoata/Wayak Pata or Huacapata in Quechua).
  • A cute little city square with a fountain in the middle. Some nice shops around it and the Museum of Contemporary Art is there too. Many tour groups meet here in the mornings and evenings. Very safe area. Good place to hang out.
  • I stumbled upon this hidden gem on my way to the Catedral and the main Plaza de Armas. It manages to be secluded and peaceful while being just steps away from the touristy hustle and bustle
  • Fantastic place. Full of history. Very good restaurants and an amazing view.
  • Cool plaza off of the main one with great restaurants and some nice native trees.
