(4.5/5 based on 480+ reviews on the web)
Learn about astronomy from a different viewpoint at Planetarium Cusco. The family-run planetarium introduces you to the astronomy learnings of the Incas, a civilization with a special connection to the stars. The planetarium organizes excursions to its scenic location, secluded in the hills above Cusco (your ticket includes transportation to/from the city). Learn about the Incas, their history, and how the stars impacted their agriculture and architecture, as well as other aspects of their culture. View the slideshow of constellations projected in the intimate viewing room before going out into the night for some relaxing stargazing. Verify their schedule on the website and reserve in advance. Planetarium Cusco is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Cusco Edition.

  • We really liked the experience, they are a family business that makes rustic style of the experience is justified and even inspiring. Very interesting information that gives the Guide, mostly on the worldview that the Incas had. Then you invite to use a telescope to see Venus. Very nice people. It only negative that we spent was that had hypochlorite of sodium spilled in the truck, what ruined my jean. As compensation (without having them asked) got us 2 t-shirts with the logo of the planetarium. Recommended visit.
