If you visit Cuzco with little time, I advise you to visit 2 museums and 1 convent. Convent of Saints Sunday, Museum Machu Pichu Casa Concha and this Museum, regional historical Museum. Also the excellent, very affable guide cult and classifier is really complete and very nice.

This museum goes through TWO stories. Saw lot of people leaving without realising that. First floor had everything from fossils to inka culture, clothing, agriculture, food, jewelery, ceremonial items. Worth seeing. Second floor had Spanish invasion theme. The house used to belong to a man who's father was Spanish and mother inka and who was proud to be inka. This is another entrance in "general ticket"

This museum presents a fantastic regional perspective from prehistoric epochs through recent history. The collection and presentation of artifacts is impressive. Presenting information in both English and Spanish was beneficial and most appreciated. I highly recommend it if you're interested in history.

Excellent, modern and open minded museum in Cusco! It has beautiful displays, helpful staff and they also let you take photos, which is a luxury in Peruvian museums.

Cusco tourist ticket is included in the. Aside from the degree of my money and upset No. Display item or topic is not specific enough depth. In the meantime there are plenty of distractions to deal with. But so many more may feel to see. However, it was not my type.
