There is located the 3rd canvas more big of the world, of 108 meters square, with more than 80 portraits inspired in the line Franciscan. Very interesting to know. We went there on the door prying more closely when a young man approached us speaking tour. Even know that this church was a convent and catacombs. For only 10 soles, ok, we decided to go in. To our surprise, had to guide in Portuguese. The interior of the convent is full of works of art and decorated rooms. The courtyard is lovely-a beautiful garden in the Center and many bows as part of the architecture around it. The tombs of the Franciscan fathers bones keep who lived there in the convent. In one of them, there were the bones of 12 priests. And the most surprising is the monumental, gigantic screen, which measures that measures 12 x 9 meters. She brings the genealogy of the Franciscan family, painted by Juan Espinoza de los Monteros. This is the third largest painting on canvas in the world. In one of the halls there is also another magnificent painting that shows the Armageddon-or the 3 worlds of the incas (the duel between heaven, Earth and hell). The choir of the Church is also sighing, carved in Cedar. A place full of peace and yielding beautiful pictures. Thanks a lot!show original
