(3.6/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web)
Visit the small Museo De La Coca to learn about the role coca plays in Peruvian culture. Spread across two floors, the exhibits showcase the use of coca leaves in Peru and the history of the plant. View the information, available in English and Spanish, about the plant's medicinal and culinary uses, as well as its role in the production of cocaine. If you don't wish to chew on the plant itself, stop by the small gift shop, where you can purchase an array of coca-laced delicacies, such as chocolates, liqueurs, and beers. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Cusco holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Museo De La Coca and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Small, cosy Museum with information on coca. Interesting and instructive. In the shop there to buy various items such as chocolate

  • It is an excellent place in which to tell the story of a plant used by the indigenous people and it has become a negative to our society! Super interesting

  • the Museum is very small and more beyond the explanation about the coca and good products that sell not worth much. The entrance is cheap but not worth it

  • Not very informative, claims to be the only coca museum world wide (but isn't) - overall not worth the money
