(3.6/5 based on 200 reviews on the web)
Visit the small Museo De La Coca to learn about the role coca plays in Peruvian culture. Spread across two floors, the exhibits showcase the use of coca leaves in Peru and the history of the plant. View the information, available in English and Spanish, about the plant's medicinal and culinary uses, as well as its role in the production of cocaine. If you don't wish to chew on the plant itself, stop by the small gift shop, where you can purchase an array of coca-laced delicacies, such as chocolates, liqueurs, and beers. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Cusco holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Museo De La Coca and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • A museum dedicated to plant coca, where interesting talk (including English) and show how this plant was closely connected with the life of people in Peru and South America all the time. At the end of the shop, where a bunch of different edible products directly with this miracle plant.

  • Not very informative, claims to be the only coca museum world wide (but isn't) - overall not worth the money
