  • You can find a little of everything of the Inca culture in this place, the prices are fair and the works of great quality.

  • This market is about 15 mins walk from the central square and easy to find and offers MANY stalls with numerous options for Peruvian made souvenirs for people of all interests and ages. Vendors were f...  more »
  • This is the place if you want variety and good prices, here are many sales outlets are all crafts and clothing typical Peruvian and the best at low prices, for example when I did the trip from Cuzco to Puno buy to my spouse some earrings that because it was the place where made silverware and were better prices buy them 10 Suns which in truth I thought it was very economical, but find that those same earrings at the craft Center were in 4 Suns... This so give you an idea of what you can save if you buy their things here.

  • Nice array of artesional crafts and objects. A little more expensive than Cusco Markets, but the same exact type of items sold.
  • Reasonable prices. Great to buy souvenirs and winter clothes.
  • Best market is all Cusco, not a tourist trap and the prices are way more reasonable!
  • I prefer it to San Pedro Market, which is crowded and smells like gone-off cheese, Centro Artesanal is much quieter and more pleasant to shop. I found the prices to be a little more but the selection is better.
  • Really great place for souvenirs, but you will have to negotiate and it is a little overwhelming

Where to stay in Cusco

One of Peru's most visited cities, Cusco boasts lodgings suitable for every traveler's needs. Scores of hotels ensure plenty of comfortable rooms for tourists coming to explore the nearby archeological sites. Despite the abundance of hotels, room rates remain among the highest in the country, especially during peak season (June to mid-September). Budget-conscious visitors can choose from a range of hostels and small family-run hotels, many located in quiet streets just a walk away from the town's central area.
