  • Chinchero is a village with less than 1000 inhabitants and is located at 3800 Ml well on sea (walk slowly, breath ...) where there are Inca ruins, agricultural terraces, a beautiful church-Iglesia Colonial de Chinchero-and a characteristic market in the square with many traditional Andean textiles. In the country, visited, there is a center of "Textiles Tradicionales" where explains the "natural" treatment of cycle lane (vicuna, Alpaca) including coloring and various treatments (with a nice cup of tea). Definitely worth seeing

  • We expected to find original and cheap textiles but is the same that exist in the fairs in Cuzco and equal and even higher prices. the callable is the explanation that makes the process of dyeing, spinning and weaving traditional ladies. Our guide deceived us saying that there was the best place for purchasing tapestries. In Pisac Sunday market, and market of San Pedro in Cuzco had things much more beautiful and good prices.
