  • I was taken here for a visit with a friend. I was very underwhelmed. It looks cheap and the price for admission is high for still being worked on. It's just mostly restaurants right now and not many o...  more »
  • We will return to this site after a few months, the site continues with the same problems, maintenance is becoming worse, feels the passage of the years and the large number of visitors has restaurants quite populates at affordable prices, but lunch is type country house, very rustic there is a hotel site, but after seeing how he was neglected, we prefer to follow other accommodation

  • I went through the area and we went to meet my family. It is a picturesque place which is in restoration or remodeling work. The part of the interesting Museum, has a bit of everything. We did not stay for lunch, our visit lasted less than an hour and a half.

  • I liked it very much. The only thing I didn't like was variety of food, it was quite delicious, mostly pork though. The castle is about 60 km from Lima, less than 2 hours driving. It has some small museums, several restaurants and a swimming pool. Prices are ok, I'd say. It's a good place to expend a day with family.
  • Es un bonito lugar para pasar en familia un domingo. Todo adentro casi cuesta 5 soles la entrada general 20 soles
  • A must see place. You won't regret it.
  • Chancay castle is a beautiful modern folly, it embraces several ancient cultures Romans, King Arthur and India. Inside is a small but interesting collection of ancient artifacts including mummified bodies. It would appeal to children and adults alike and I for one am glad I stopped by. The views along the coast are magnificent. It doesn't cater to English speakers but it's still a lot of fun and cheap. Think Disneyworld meets Incas and King Arthur. Good old fashion cheesy fun.
