  • To reach yumbilla from Chachapoyas take combi from the terminal until Pedro Ruiz (ref to date price 5 soles). In Pedro Ruiz must climb cuispes, I did on a motorcycle taxi (reference 10 Soles). Already in the plaza de armas of Cuispes must register at the office of tourism of guides and a down payment of 10 soles, (you can pass them a key to enter the path, when I was already had opened a former tourist), after that you can walk to the waterfall pri mere by dirt road to the entrance of the sendero(este trecho de camino también se puede hacer en moto taxi o carro si lo desean) and then a trail through a spectacular cloud forest, from cuispes waterfall to my I take about 2 hours and a half with mu Chas breaks small mainly to photograph the place. Again I did not find motorcycle taxi from cuispes Pedro Ruiz (so beware that, perhaps was only that it is low season and it rained enough in the afternoon) so after waiting for something as well how 50 min started to get walking and in the middle of the road collected me a motorcycle taxi to m and again let em Pedro Ruiz, I again paid 5 Suns to return to Chachapoyas very happy and relaxed of having walked in the forest that I found wonderful. I think one of the things that I liked most about yumbilla was practically just walk the forest, 4 hours approximately I just came across a single person who came back when I was going and a group of 3 girls going to the waterfall when I already returned.
