  • The stone forest is the perfect place to go to relax, sunny day (it is necessary to bring sunscreen, hat and sunglasses), afternoon runs a very strong wind and night is pretty quite cold. It is super great, has 4 routes where you know the different figures: tourist, turtle etc. Us not them met all, rather walked up to the nuns and we sat down to talk. Then we got in the car and went to see the Lagoon (approx 20/25 min of ida). Keep in mind that it is more than 4,000 meters above sea level, gave several altitude sickness. Extra: We leave Lima at 6.30 am Thursday 17, and took the route by huaral. We had a bit of traffic leaving Lima but nothing serious (we did Lima-Huayllay in 6 hrs) we were inside the shrine of stones at Alcivides (account with 3 quadruple rooms) hosting. In the mornings and evenings we ate at his home where his wife cooked (10 soles each dish aprox.) If you can I recommend you to stay with the family of Alcivides, see the sunrise and the sunset at the stone forest is priceless.

  • Step into our work in Alpamarca, we visited this beautiful monument of rock formations. The figures that can be seen are nice. Very cold weather for it is recommended to bring warm clothes and does not carry much weight. There is no cell signal so it is a good option to disconnect you from the world city. If your core point is Cerro de Pasco I recommend you stay at the Manor Hotel. There there is also a good restaurant where even serve you the breakfast included in the room rate. Huayllay is approximately one hour from Hill. The collective to Huayllay take them in the center of Pasco, one block from the terminal. You can take advantage of the thermal baths of La Calera. Comforting! Take thermos with hot water and sorojchi phills because if you're not accustomed in fact that affect you. If you go by the road to sing or the Huaral, the stretch is good until the end sings or Huaral. From there everything is trail. But between the two options, it is best to go by way of singing the way of Huaral is areas with too much slope and more risky. Same trip worth Huayllay is one of the few beautiful options of this type.
