However, if you go from cerro de pasco there is no tour and you have to go on your own to the stone forest. It is 1 hour from cerro de pasco and the groups charge you 7 soles to Huayllay where you can stay. The entrance to the forest costs a Sun and the Guide 30 soles for any of the routes (which take between 3 to 7 hours depending on the route you take) but you can go without a guide (which I would not recommend because you can be risky).
