The Obelisk is a monument that stands out in the pampas surrounding it, the view that you have to climb to the vantage point is spectacular. It is a fixed attraction which is due visit to Ayacucho. It can be reached taking a tour from the city of Huamanga, or by groups. The entrance up to the viewpoint is of 6 soles for adults and 2 soles for students.

The Obelisk is simply imposing its 44 meters are remote, as well as to have the opportunity to meet more of the history of our country and as achieve our independence. Safety pin!

Stop forced if you visit Ayacucho. It is a place full of history, especially for what it symbolizes. Entry into the upper part of the same Obelisk is difficult if you go with very young children, as there is a very narrow staircase, but once above, all safe and well. There are no restaurants, only put food, it might be good to bring a snack if you not like what there offer. Horse ride is nice, but short, and if you go on tour, take care to reach the time for everything.

The colonial-era streets of Ayacucho house atmospheric and sensitively restored hotels and family-run inns. Larger hotels built in recent times provide a wider range of facilities and services, including pools, restaurants, and bars. Informal and budget-friendly guesthouses fit in neatly with the look of private homes and stores on the residential streets in town, providing particularly good options for budget-conscious visitors who want to delve into the rich culture of everyday Ayacucho.
