Where to stay in Ayacucho

The colonial-era streets of Ayacucho house atmospheric and sensitively restored hotels and family-run inns. Larger hotels built in recent times provide a wider range of facilities and services, including pools, restaurants, and bars. Informal and budget-friendly guesthouses fit in neatly with the look of private homes and stores on the residential streets in town, providing particularly good options for budget-conscious visitors who want to delve into the rich culture of everyday Ayacucho.

  • He lodged at this nice house while in Ayacucho. It is decently kept, but the collection of artifacts, photos, and paintings is not worth your effort.  more »
  • It is located in the historic centre of Ayacucho, 5 blocks from the main square. It is an old House that has several paintings of the colony and many personal items of Marshal Andrés Avelino Cáceres, hero of the war with Chile. A place that stands out is the stable, as it has 2 rows of 5 arches of limestone, unique in the Peru.
