  • Very good experience, quite accessible. First shown a video that explains quite well the "Juanita" find in the mount Ampato, a 12 year old girl who was found in the heights in incredible State of conservation. On display was "Sarita", that is between the month of January to may. Very interesting, because several objects that were found can be seen.

  • Short film to explain how the frozen children were found, than a tour around a small museum and viewing of one of the mummies itself.  more »
  • The video is informative and instructive. You can then understand that for the Incas the thysiasmena guys were ambassadors to the world of the gods. All the paraphernalia of anthrwpothysiwn, figurines, fabric folds prepare to stand in front of the icy confused daughter.. I think it is the Museum that helps you to understand the efforts of the Incas to survive in such a hostile natural environment ...

  • Great to see and learn more about Juanita. You have to pay for a guide and entrance, which is a bit expensive
  • Educational and interesting. Might be a bit expensive, as others stated, but worth the money.
  • A little bit expensive at 20 soles entry. There are tours in Spanish and English, tips are expected. Interesting artifacts and of course, Juanita!
  • It's 20 soles but I didn't get inside
  • Weird.
