  • Good view, you take about 1 hour visit the Museum. The view from the Bell Tower to the city and horizons is recommended

  • Well worth the 20 soles for a personable tour of the cathedral. The guide was fantastic, informative and had great humour. Highly recommend!!
  • The Cathedral is on the Plaza de Armas; the building is beautiful! Be at any time of day (with the lighting of the Sun) or at night (the lamp lights), the view is fantastic. The times of access to the interior of the Cathedral are quite restricted, see in advance, but worth a visit and see the details of the construction. It's really beautiful! Within all Peru, a tip I learned from experience: I don't need to buy bullets (confectionary) or gum of Coke (both very expensive); Instead, buy gum, common in the hotel or pousada, serve-free of coca leaves (the hotels and guesthouses give coca leaves for free-make your ' stock '); then chew the gum with coca leaves, and go adding more coca leaves the mouth; so, by the taste of your gum, you don't get seasick by the acerbic taste of coke and take care to not suffer from altitude (real tiredness, dizziness or fainting). Enjoy the fall for Arequipa!
