Even those who do not like football worth knowing this Museum in the region of Luque. The visitor is guided and have to be checked. There are numerous cups, photos and files from the world football since your first At the end of the visit pass a movie from the beginning of football.

The place is very beautiful and has a very good infrastructure for visitors. Is in the region of Luque (close to the airport and next to the hotel Bourbon), a 40-minute Assuncion. The visits are guided so you better make a reservation in advance otherwise you will wait close the groups on the day you visit. (This may take a while). The Museum has the story of every game of the confederations Cups, the Copa Libertadores and America football. With videos, photos, uniforms and etc. .. The ride must be made by curious or who really love football because otherwise arrives 1 hour is boring. The day I went was very kid, I think schools and was very noisy.

With so much history of football, could have done some more effort to provide best attractions. Today, the Museum has 3 areas:-the area of cups - review by the champions of the Copa Libertadores - video with the history of the Conmebol (until 2010) there is a souvenir shop, or anything where the visitor can take some souvenir. If there is an event at the Convention Center (when I went there was a Congress of dentistry) have to go through what you have. I.e., the Museum does not have own entrance! Despite the good predisposition of employees, missing something touch with visitors and it seems that they want to dispatch. It is not a guided tour or much less. perhaps I went with too many expectations but the truth is that the place leaves a lot to be desired and could be much more entertaining.

It looks like the CSF has cut the museum's budget because it looks kinda abandoned in some areas like displays not working at all, some jerseys missed, some museum staff members are rude (not all though), and the museum is not updated with recent cup america champions. The whole place has like 5 important areas: 1) the trophies section 2) 2 halls which lead you downstairs with pictures of every football club in south america grouped by each country 3) a commemoration of each country football history with very typical stuff about each of them 4) the champions of every libertadores classified by year and 5) a video room with football history (this is the big ball you see when arriving at the complex). Overall I thought it was interesting but the staff pretty much ruined it, maybe more maintenance and a very good guide will improve it.

Very nice, the guide was very well educated and friendly and pay nothing. The only thing I didn't like was the informality at the entrance without any guidance on visits, the times were very limited and there is no clear information on the site. Suggest going to 2:00 pm and ask the security guard at the entrance.
