Plaza de Armas, Encarnacion

(50+ reviews on the web)
Landmark Tourist Spot
Take refuge from the heat and stroll around Plaza de Armas. This public square offers manicured gardens and green spaces along with a small Japanese garden complete with its own Koi fish pond. Grab a hot dog or popcorn from local vendors, or if you feel like something more substantial, visit one of the shops or restaurants surrounding the park. There’s plenty of space to move around and blow off some steam, including a volleyball court; bring along a ball if you're up for a game. Put Plaza de Armas at the forefront of your travel plans using our Encarnacion trip itinerary builder.

  • There are two things that I really like. One is the part of games for children that are well painted and equipped... And the one that I like is the Japanese sector of the square. Very nice is set!

  • Excellent place to visit as it has many trees, is clean, safe, and above all the square offers a space of tranquility in the heart of the city. It is a great place to go with friends or with the family.

  • The square is a bit careless. The sources no longer work. But if the municipality invests little in that area it would be perfect.
