  • I visited in 2015 and La Santisima Trinidad de Parana was my favorite place in Paraguay. The ruins are extremely well kept despite visitors having freedom to explore. In my opinion, the guard tower wa...  more »
  • Well worth stopping for this and learning a bit of what happened here: a great social experiment. Well restored ruins and some good info in the museum. A beautiful place.
  • First of all: before entering Paraguay (who is by Posadas!!!), STAMP your Passport on entry! Stop the messy immigration and get the damn, stamp, on the way out, suffer a fine or bribe! Well ... Past that, the departure of Encarnacion to Trinity is on very busy road and in good condition (Route 6). There is a toll which accepted Argentine pesos. However, in the Park, only accept and credit card. However, it did not work the machine and was a little stress change guaraníes there!! But the ruins are fantastic ... a large structure, which, in our summer, requires disposal, sunscreen and, for the more sensitive, insect repellent! Is very worthwhile ... The architectural ensemble is grandiose, imposing ... Exudes history. Real time travel! Has many points for memorable photos. Just enjoy.
