  • We were very frustrated having gone to him (we were on a bus for being one of the most distant places) and, before we go, we checked the time that would be open on the site itself and had no message that was closed for renovation. Had read on blogs that are worth the ride, but. ...

  • I went to the place with low expectations, but surprised me. The amount of pieces on display is huge! The rooms were very well organized and the location is nice, well signposted, clean and interesting. Access is a little bad for who goes by bus or on foot, as it is a kind of hidden Street. But nothing to ask and follow the tourist map of the city can't handle. Recommend a visit!

  • It's a beautiful Museum, see absolumente for the local culture. There are painting and contemporary sculpture of Paraguayan artists. There are also contemporary ceramics with a few pieces of ceramics from other countries (these are pre-Columbian). Then, we can admire the religious Franciscan scuptures and Jesuits, including the sculptures in wood made by the Indians very beautiful. One is surprised and delighted to admire the "nanduti" (embroidery-lace) made to the former with a finesse and delicacy that found today. A beautiful part of the Museum is given to anthropology of the native peoples of the still existing Paraguay (17 different groups). There are also temporary exhibitions of local artists. I was able to admire the works of a painter Ishisr-chamacoco Ogwa Flores Balbuena. His paintings whose subjects on cosmogony, myth and the lifestyle of its people are simply beautiful! Look for his works on the internet for a good time! Prior to the visit of the Museum are looking for the opening on the site of the Museum. It is closed for lunch. You can buy gifts, ceramic, fabric, nanduti and books in their store.

  • More museums in the country please! Excellent combination of traditional art with contemporary in the same space. More than recommended. That Yes, we must improve the location.

Estou indo embora, decepcionada.
  • An amazing place. Recommended visit

  • This location is wrong, as well as in D and E. The only right is B on the map. Note that all refer to that address, which is correct but who cannot be in four places in the city...
