  • We arrived at Loma San Jeronimo, but the place was a little weird. Before we came we ask information for each meter maids this time and they said it was just move on and then talked about "Luck". We feel strange, but we continue. We found the label indicating "Loma San Jeronimo" with the colourful little houses, but to go up the street, the houses were no longer so well preserved. We're looking for the shops and cafes that we had read on the internet, all closed. And when we ask for information to a person from there she said, "You don't know anyone here, they should go". Very strange and nothing like what we had read. We went on Saturday (I was told it was the best day, that had guidelines and everything else) near lunchtime with the intention of having lunch there, but found nothing. Comparing with Brazil, the appearance that he had was like a shantytown who tried to make a tourist attraction, but it didn't work.

  • Before going there I saw many pictures and good reviews of the place. Apparently it is a neighborhood where residents were proposed to fix the facades of their houses to become a point of tourist interest. However in my visit I found a very abandoned place; the stairs are being repaired and it is complex to go up them and there are only a couple of houses with well painted facades. Before you go up there to ask if the place is enabled, otherwise don't waste your time.

  • Here, they wanted to make a wave La Boca in Buenos Aires. At first national and municipal authorities gave support to the inhabitants of this shantytown. Then they abandoned them, and the neighborhood became dangerous for visitors, with nothing interesting to see.
