  • I could have spent all day here, there's so much to see. We were drawing, so it was great to be able to study the wildlife before going out into the bush. Great people too, so friendly and helpful.
  • Enjoyed the bird watching and animals in their enclosures. Found alot of facts about my country especially the many flora and fauna, animals, marsupials and more. There's places to sit and relax, even kids playground and a coffee shop to top it off.
  • Port Moresby Nature Park is an ideal location for picnic, family kaikai, weekend outdoor exposer, birthday celebration, wedding reception, etc... It is well looked after with upgraded facilities. There is a little gift shop for tourists and a cafeteria. Its a wonderful place due to its ever-green plants.
  • This place is noise free all u can hear are the birds and flying fox , the stuffs are very friendly and it's a great place for picnic, birthday party or even wedding...I love spending time at this wonderful place, not forgetting the endangered species of Papua New Guinea which are showcased there ...this park deserves a 10 star rating...
  • Brilliant spot for a visitor or local. great work in developing a zoological garden.

Where to stay in Port Moresby

Hotels are dotted rather haphazardly throughout Port Moresby, and tend to be somewhat expensive. Several four- and five-star accommodations cluster on the small peninsula also called Port Moresby, but known to locals simply as "Town." The nearby Ela Beach ranks as one of Port Moresby's most scenic areas and a popular recreational spot. The suburb Boroko is most convenient for public transport, but this once-bustling commercial center has lost much of its luster in recent years. Most hotels will arrange pick-up and drop-off from the airport.
