  • Driving and then paddle canoeing to this village of native Indians, it's a bit rustic, but certainly worth seeing just for the experience. It's a bit of a haul into the jungle on the river, but its un...  more »
  • First of all: very safe and nothing that a good repellent can not handle. recommended 100%. Takes about 45 minutes to reach the place of boarding from panama city. Traveling in a canoe by the Chagres River 30 minutes approximately to then make a trekking of about 20 minutes which ends in a beautiful waterfall where one you can bathe and relax a while. Then returns to the boat and travels to a village where the locals receive you with music from their own indigenous instruments. The locals are responsible for explaining the by that live in that place and in that way and also as they made their crafts that you can buy at a reasonable price (and a lot cheaper in panama city, if you can find them). You get to try their food and everything ends with a dance in which you can participate if you dare.
