  • I would recommend the Pearl Islands for anyone looking for a day trip or weekend getaway from Panama City, specifically Isla Contadora, which had gorgeous, uncrowded beaches that were great for swimmi...  more »
  • Surely as location is to be placed among the best Islands in the world, really wonderful archipelago. Contadora is kinda "Cathedral", with beautiful mansions on one side but also a bit of neglect here and there. Its definitely worth a visit anyway, because it's definitely the best to stay in the archipelago and is easy to reach the other islands like Saboga, Pedro Gonzalez, San Miguel etc etc-clear water, fish of all kinds, whales and whale sharks. Atolls lost everywhere. A true paradise

  • We went to spend the day at Viveros Island, leaving the Tower Trump with Ferry Las Perlas. On the island there is a dock to get off with ease and a ramp to get to the point where you take a bus. In 10 minutes you reach the resort. The beach is very nice, quiet, warm and transparent waters. The resort facilities are excellent. The bathrooms are spotless, the infinity-edge pool is huge, the chairs on the beach, chairs, sunshades available in quantity in different locations and all of quality. Bad ride was bar and restaurant service. There was no variety of beverages, food was scarce and nothing, and at a high price. The restaurant was closed, so it had no other choice that lunch at tables outside. No doubt would return the charm of the place, but waiting for a better service in terms of food and drink.
