  • Near the Centre of Panama City, it is possible at the nature center, a little to see the local wildlife. The Park is not very large, but very well kept. I am pleased, to be able to see two sloths in the trees. Although they were further away, but they live there stay in natural surroundings and that's worth a lot more than to get these animals in cages. What one imagines in Germany under welfare but not necessarily corresponded to the Aquarium for fish and turtles. Unfortunately, we did not see the amphibian exhibition because our tour guide did not see that. Conclusion: Even though the Park is small, I recommend this visit, because you can really see some wildlife. Especially children are likely to have their joy.

  • A lovely spot. Small, dont expect too much. The views are fantastic, the shade is refreshing on a hot day, and it's a great activity to do with young kids.
  • First and foremost, this is a very small attraction. Don't expect a large facility. The staff are very friendly. The exhibits are very interesting, but, once again, small. The views are wonderful and worth it alone. You can touch sharks, starfish and rays. There are sloths hanging in trees around the center. The frog exhibit has some very cool species. It's definitely worth a short visit if you are in the area.
  • Great place for kids
  • Very nice little nature centre where you can observe poison dart frogs, turtles, starfish, iguanas and more!
  • Small, but admission is only $5. Good place to spend a few hours. Very nice views, educational, and interesting.

Where to stay in Panama City

To enjoy a balance between old-fashioned architecture and new-edge culture, the southern coastal neighborhood of Casco Viejo (Old Quarter) remains the best place to stay in Panama City. You can choose from a range of stylish boutique hotels and comfortable guesthouses lining the narrow streets of this neighborhood, home to many cafes and bars. For a selection of mid-range and higher-end hotels, many with swimming pools, look to the north-central neighborhood of El Cangrejo. You can also find budget accommodations in the beachfront suburb of Calidonia.
