  • It is a wonderful experience, to go and visit cerro ancon, with these panoramic views, where we look at the bridge of the americas and other views of all panama. You can climb walk, friendly staff serving, I really loved and les exorto visit the cerro ancon.

  • It's quite a climb up so if you're not on a tight budget is I recommend taxi up, running down. The views of the city from Ancon is particular to see. We had our first encounter with a sloth on top of Ancon and saw here a Toucan so look also up!

  • At least one free-access activity is rare in the Panama. To get there better is to take a taxi, it is cheap and avoids you to cross on foot of ugly neighborhoods like Chorillo or San Felipe which are to be avoided. The taxi drops you off at the main entrance which is a dead end (in principle they know), then you have 30-minute climb up to the top on a road bordered by vegetation. It is only at the top that you can see the panorama, a belvedere turned to the city and the Pacific ocean, the other opposite to the channel. It was nothing at the top, no restaurant or bar, or other. Count 1 h 30 maximum round-trip walk. We have not seen animals. There is no taxi back we waited and finally we made the stop. If you have several days in Panama City, to do this walk.

  • Good as a escape from the noise of the city. Easy paved trekking to the top.
  • The views from the hill were amazing! When I went it was slightly hazy, so they weren't as good, but I could see some of the New City and much of the Old City as well.
  • Fantastic for photos of the modern skyline in contrast with the old town. a nature reserve so a good chance of seeing poison dart frogs, Haiti, tucans and more.
  • Great place to visit if you want an awesome view of Panama City.
  • Great views of city and canal area. A must for anyone visiting Panama city.We saw a tree sloth high up in tree.
