Los Pozos Termales, El Valle de Anton
(1.4/5 based on 110+ reviews on the web)
Immerse yourself in a tropical setting under the canopy of green leaves as you soothe your muscles and let your skin recover at Los Pozos Termales. Apply a layer of mud to your skin and allow it to dry to reap the benefits of the many present minerals. Following the mud treatment, head to the manmade thermal pools and unwind as you dip into mineral rich waters ranging from 34 C (93 F) to 38 C (100 F). Signs in Spanish around the grounds list which minerals are present in the mud. Ground rules dictate that you must apply the mud and wash it off before heading to the thermal pool. Los Pozos Termales is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, El Valle de Anton Edition.

  • The personnel at this place is really nice and friendly, it is really inexpensive and the personnel is very attentive.
  • During our 3 days in El Valle rained almost without interruption. Then we went 2 times to the termales Pozos. The first time the rain was fun, especially since we were the only guests. We could enjoy the small pool to ourselves. We would have liked to stay longer but the employee asked us to get out because time is limited (from memory, 40 minutes). The next day we also took a while before a because Panamanians don't come, and saw the crowd we left. Do not expect a natural site. There is that cement structures, but the wooded setting is pleasant. The pool is small, and the clean locker room. The employee describes using a pattern on a board the natural phenomenon of hot water from the volcano route, and invite you then to mud and butter before going in the pool. I recommend to go there when it's not busy, because with lots of world, seeing children having fun, it doesn't have to be nice. On the effectiveness of the mud on the skin I haven't noticed anything on mine, except to resemble a warrior in light of camouflage, one hastens to photograph for social networks.
