  • This is a place that the resources that they have, make teaching about snakes so that they don't kill them just by believing that they are all poisonous or bad. It is an austere, simple but their staff is full of information to share. The entrance are $ 3. They do not receive any help from the Government by the social work they do since they visit schools in the area or attending the fairs that take place in different parts of the interior of the country to educate on these animals. On many occasions they also recatan animals and that times have suffered accidents and then return them to nature. His work seems laudable and worthy of applause. When you arrive there is a cage with turtles and alligators coexist together. I caught my attention that contrary to what I thought, turtles are carnivorous, and it is that they begin to chew the lizard. Then you go to the area where they have snakes in cubicles depending on the type that are. There are boas, snakes, Eyelash Viper x. depending on, you can see how they feed on one of these snakes. At the end you have a pet that leave you touch her and pose with them. Whenever I can I am going to this place

  • Very small but worth the visit. Love the option to touch some of the animals. It is interesting that they only capture and release. If they aren’t able to release they find the animals new home. Of course it is all a non profit organization so donations are appreciated.
  • i normally don't go to places like this, but as i am here, might as well. it's a strange place for my liking, but very well laid out and maintained.
  • Worth the trip, even if only to support the work of the sanctuary. I visited when they seemed a little low on staff/volunteers, so there wasn’t much explanation apart from the signs.
  • Very interesting presentation on snakes, and other reptiles. Snakes look healthy.
  • This is a rescue and rehabilitation reptile center. It's a little difficult to find, but once inside, you will find a nice little outdoor facility. You will find several varieties of snakes in aquariums and the local guide there will give you information on the center and the reptiles they have. $4 the entrance.
