  • We went to the springs today which was a great experience. The pools are surrounded by rocks and are lovely and warm like a healing bath. To sit there in the sun and rain in the natural environment wa...  more »
  • You can take a minibus from Boquete to caldera. The bus costs $3 and the rider can get off one at a crossroads. From there, there are about 30-45 minutes walk to the hot springs. The way is pretty shady but also quite soggy through the trees, glückglicherweise. The host Springs cost $2 entry. It's 2 pools with hot water (37-40 degrees). In the pool, it has sand and stones and thus enough seating. But beware: If you're sitting on the stones you will be attacked by ants and there are just no ants, small black mosquitoes, which bite go. After staying at the hot springs, my body was covered with red bite sites! At the hot spring, there are no toilets, Umziehmöglichken or "Refreshment stands". The only refreshment is the nearby river. So be sure to bring enough drinks for the hot springs have the effect of a sauna!

  • The thermal springs consist of two "natural pool" in which the fit about 5 people. The water is, as we have been told, 35, and 40 ° C warm, what is not necessarily pleasant on a hot day like during our visit. Also a river is at few meters distance to the cool present. Umziehen possible are not present, toilet not. Admission, which is payable at the nearby FINCA is $2 reasonably cheap. Arrival from Boquete: take bus to caldera which leaves from near the Plaza (the 41 then descends towards David, rise to possible) and get off at the "Refresceria" in caldera. If you tell the bus driver "Termales" he will eject you from the right place. The bus runs every 2 hours according to our information. From here, there are approx. 35 min walk which is muddy sometimes (probably Wetterbedingt). At the beginning, it is still marked, then seeping effect is hardly possible. Tips: Trekking - or hiking boots for the short walk. Beer take to relax in the pool. Sufficient water for the return mitnehem, especially in hot temperatures and no rain.

  • Nice hot spings however works one bad employee there who tries to rip you off. Pretty annoying, comes with a strange story that some of the springs is his property
  • The water is warm, clean and the people who run the place are great. $2 entrance helps them. I go often.
  • Good friendly staff. Other attractions in the place, only missing the signs, but worth it.
