  • Well marked trail, moderate difficulty, with stretches of steeper, more challenging areas up near waterfall number 3. The price is up to $7 per person, now.
  • We were visiting in the rainy season, and it was muddy and wet, but the waterfalls were flowing and we enjoyed being out in the jungle. It is a pretty steep trail just to get up to the lodge and pay t...  more »
  • One can of Boquete, take the bus direction Bajo Mono. The driver dropped us at the start of the walk out. The driver said that until 18:00 every hour is a bus back to Boquete. After a climb you come to a small plant, where the $7 entrance fee must be paid. The hike can be done without any problems on your own. It is important to have footwear there. The way seems to be indeed made, but partly steep and slippery in places. To have a jacket is recommended, because it can get quite fresh especially at the falls. The trail leads through a beautiful forest, if one is attentive, some animals can be seen. The waterfalls were all three very beautiful and have run plenty of water. A beautiful and impressive trip!
