Escape civilization with a visit to Isla Zapatillas, a set of two uninhabited islands known for their pristine, tropical beaches. Take a boat ride to one of the two islets, and find a secluded beach to relax on. Warm white sand and crystal clear waters encircle the islands' lush vegetation. Sunbathe, lounge in the shade of palm trees, or try snorkeling around the coral reefs just off the shore. Bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen, as this remote location doesn't have any facilities. • A bit over crowded but still not to bad. There are better places in Panama if you've got time. Take some food and drink with you as there are no places to grab some supplies from.  more »
  • This place is absolutely beautiful...great for swimming, free diving, and relaxing. It is uninhabited there is nothing there...pack snacks and drinks. Bring all your trash out don’t ruin this...  more »
  • This would be the perfect place to be stranded on! It’s nice that it has been kept so clean when many other places are littered. We walked around the entire island in about 40 minutes mostly barefoot....  more »

  • Beautiful place, no people on the island and you can walk around all of it. Clear water and amazing view no matter where you are looking at.
  • I don't think there is a more beautifull place in the carabien than here. A must when you are in Bocas.
  • Beautiful and peaceful, or you can choose the sea side and watch the waves. One island has only an abandoned building, the other has a national park outpost which is staffed with helpful park guards. If you can get out here, absolutely do so! We camped here for one night at a price of $10 per person. Beaching. The kayaks was easy from the inland side.
  • Excellent small uninhibited island off the coast of Bocas del toro. Perfect fine sand, crystal clear turquoise water. The bad thing is that you cannot stay there overnight and most tour companies only leave you for 2 hours. Don't miss it on your Panama trip.
  • One of the most amazing places I have ever been
