Ngardmau Falls, Koror

(4.1/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
Stand under the rushing waters of Ngardmau Falls, a 30 m (100 ft) high waterfall hidden among the surrounding jungle. Legend has it that a giant eel appeared on the rocks here and lay down for centuries, draped over the edge of the cliff face. Over time, the magic eel--considered a god by the locals--turned into a mighty river. Have a bite to eat in a traditional Palauan hut as the water cascades down, and follow the river through the diverse forest, discovering natural pools and local wildlife. • This is worth the stop if you decide to go around the island. It's $10/person. There's a short hike down to the falls or you can ride their tram for a fee.  more »

  • Not only the waterfall is the trouble, also daareen the walk. And a ride in the miniature train is totally worth it.
