Kayangel Island, Koror

4.5
#4 of 8 in Nature in Palau
Slow things down on Kayangel Island, the remote, northernmost state in Palau. With a population under 150, the island remains remarkably untouched; lush vegetation, sandy beaches, and an uncomplicated lifestyle combine to create a paradisiacal atmosphere. Only one shop operates here, along with a single school. Various tour groups run trips to the island; many allow snorkeling in its waters or include fishing trips where you can eat what you catch. Pay attention to weather warnings before going: the island is unprotected from extreme conditions. We visited on a tour of the IMPAC. And will pick up tourists in vans around the hotel. The driver alone, who guides you through the whole process. PPR → → PRR in Koror island two hotels order around. Was settled at the last hotel on the Chair in front of the hotel dark and narrow front seat via card. It is wild. Somewhat hard to wait until everyone is standing. And when you join our six Japanese (wind honeymoon couple who we married two men, female friends of the company two) and was aged American woman charged (marine biology researcher). And the North bevaldaob Island intact car over more than an hour. Koror island and maintained road is amazing, absolutely not shaking. Managing WC and diving related equipment out there, and like a Jetty on the Western side of the northern end of the building. This site is only the IMPAC said local elderly people. Other tours from Malakal to head directly to the boat? It seems hard to move this away in a boat. In-atoll in kayangel Island about 45 minutes by speed boat from the pier. < Snorkeling along the drop-off in the atoll"and increases the transparency of the water and also the shape of the seabed has varied. And brightly colored fish is fair teeming with goblins. This was the best snorkel point on this tour. Only floating tide sooner than expected, and changed views....

Have been increasing in recent years, South Korean tourists to the Kayan should go early (before any more trash). Outdoor night tours available were supposed.
