  • It is a nice stop for a view point. I was told that the water appears blue and beautiful, but was kind of gray on this day. Still very nice.

  • Me and my host went there to open our fast last year in Ramadan. It was hardly a 30 mint drive. It was a beautiful experience though avoid going there when it's Hot or raining.

  • The lake is quite near Skardu. And you can easily approach it in your own car. But it is recommended to go there when the atmosphere is a bit cloudy. Right now there are no activities on satpara lake but you can enjoy the mesmerising view.
  • Good place you can visit on the way to deosai. Looks similar to atabad lake
  • Lovely lake just minutes from Skardu
  • On the way to Deosai planes, comes this majestic lake called SATPARA LAKE. Lake is just about 25 mins drive from Skardu City towards Deosai Planes. This lake has two ends that one can enjoy its view. One end is where dam is constructed while the other end is where it starts. There is a PTDC motel on lake but unfortunately the motel is not active and cannot be accessed as it is closed. But there is a hotel where we can have all facilities specially having a cup of tea ☕ before the scenic lake One thing which all visistors would agree that is probably the most quiet place in Skardu, though skardu is not much crowdy like that like what we observe in down cities but this spot is Just amazing
