Tomb Shah Rukne Alam, Multan

(4.7/5 based on 30+ reviews on the web)
Visit Tomb Shah Rukne Alam to appreciate the architecture and pay your respects to the Sufi saint. See carved red brick ornaments and blue and white mosaic tiles, which altogether create a magnificent exterior. Octagonal in shape, with 4 m (13 ft) thick walls, the interior remains bare, providing a stark contrast with the ornate facade. From the outside, you'll notice that the mausoleum consists of three stories: two octagons topped by a hemispherical dome. You can also see geometric floral designs, as well as calligraphy motifs. Tomb Shah Rukne Alam is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Multan Edition.

  • Multan, mausolea and heat and soil is said to be dust and begging in the December cold, windy town certainly dry soil dust was amazing. Best known for its many mausolea, but hitting so watch here. Located on a hill, around the Park was a recreational area. Beautifully decorated red brick and blue glass, tile, an iconic place in Multan. Since the Saint's mausoleum is in the 13-14th century Muslim Saint Shah Lux Dean and ayakari's tomb is 60 too. And echoing the voices of those who worship Allah, was a solemn atmosphere.
