  • I had read on a few questions that it was 20 pkr for everyone. I wasn't too happy to find out that as a foreigner we had to pay 25 times this (500 pkr) per head. As backpackers this is basically a night sleeping for us or a days food and I was extremely disappointed to find out they wanted to charge this much to see what I heard is a beautiful place.
  • Historic place...it's structure depicts glory of Mughal Rule in sub-continent. So calm and peaceful right in the heart of bustling city is a bliss. Great place to relax yourself and peak in your past.
  • Very Good Place for Enjoyment. Morning Walk Allowed @ 6 Am to 8 Am for free. Historical Place from Mughal Era. Mango & Jamun Trees everywhere & Flowers & Fountains Also Available.

Where to stay in Lahore

Visitors are met with a great deal of choice when deciding where to stay in Lahore, and not just because of the range of accommodations available. In this regularly congested city, travel can be a real pain, so the advantages and disadvantages of each district need to be weighed against each other. Each area has a mix of standard and luxury hotels, as well as guesthouses with private and shared rooms. The old town in the north has a wealth of architectural highlights to see, but little to do after dark. Further to the south, the Mall Road area has some chain hotels, restaurants, and places to go in the evening, while the areas of Defence and Gulberg have become synonymous with hotels and nightlife options.
