  • Visiting Lahore museum was a very pleasant surprise. I was expecting it to be centered around Islam and Pakistan, like everything else there. But actually this place hosts a very good and vast collection of Budha, Hindu, Indus valley civilization and other local cultural artifacts. A place definitely worth visiting if you are visiting Lahore.
  • Lahore Museum’s majestic red-brick building blends the old tradition of Mughal architecture. It stands out among the structures built in Lahore during the British period (1849-1947). This building is home to the country's largest and oldest collection of historical, cultural and artistic objects. Its collections of Gandhara sculpture, miniature paintings, rare manuscripts and old coins are known throughout the world. Its treasure of modern paintings, arts and crafts and ethnology are a national heritage beyond comparison. These collections attract research scholars, students and tourists from all over the world and constitute a unique cross-section of the cultural history of the Subcontinent. The Museum houses artifacts from many countries and regions such as Burma, Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
  • Great place to hang out if you like history. The ticket pricing for Pakistani nationals is just 20 rupees. School students can show their school identity card and get free entry. Cameras that are hand held are allowed inside. This is a great place for acquiring knowledge about architecture, archeological, historical and many more literary and cultural things. Well maintained. It was a good experience for me, hope it's great for you.
  • Very Good and historical place to visit. But I suggest that there would be more things regarding our culture , because I have seen a lot of things there which represents indian culture. Its good but why its more than our cultural things. Second, timings are too short to visit.
  • A good tourist spot. Lots of culture and heritage. I specially liked the weaponry display.
