Get in touch with your spiritual side at Ali Hajvery's Tomb, the resting place of Sufi saint Abul Hassan Ali Hajvery. People believe that the saint lived on the site until the 11th century, with crowds of Muslims and non-Muslims alike visiting the tomb in search of blessings. Here people pray, give money, and put flowers next to the tomb, with most of the food collected at the site given to the poor. You need to take off your shoes as you enter the complex, which has strong security because of past terrorist attacks. • This is the tomb of one of the very revered in Pakistan, the Saints who lived a thousand years ago. The location is very good, everything was dignified and with panache. Pakistanis Revere their preachers. Guys, again, as in every post about Pakistan, note: this country is very good, beautiful and interesting. But not everywhere is quiet. Think about whether or not to go, and if you decide, find a local trusted maintainer and stand on a consular register at the Embassy. Email me if need be, Council will share contacts.
