  • Quaid House Museum is a beautiful Victorian style building that contains many of the personal belonging of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The whole setup gives a very good idea of the life in 1940s and 1950s. The caretaker is a very knowledgeable person with comprehensive knowledge of history and facts / figures related to the construction / upkeep of the building. Considering the fact that Govt. of Pakistan only spends Rs 6000/- (US $ 60/-) per month for the maintenance of the museum, the caretaker and his staff are doing a wonderful job in maintaining the facility in a reasonable shape. However, the museum certainly needs attention of the Govt. of Pakistan / Govt. of Sind. The museum is a great source of education for the children & elders alike and certainly needs to be better maintained.
  • It's a beautiful place with a very historic feel. And the caretaker is passionate about sharing the history of the place with visitors. One gets to see how the Father of tge Nation lived. A must-visit for Pakistanis, and especially people living in Karachi!
  • An excellent national monument of the founder of Pakistan; Quaid e Azam. Well preserved items with a local guide who gives you a quick little tour of half an hour. Must bring your kids to this place to have them an idea of the life style and charisma of the founder of Pakistan.
  • Amazing place to visit and a superb guide who has been around for 45 years!! The place is a great view into our history! Best part is that it's free and remarkably well maintained. Lunch hour is 1-2 otherwise it's open 9-4 except Wednesday which is day off. And Friday when it's 9-12.
  • When you enter the building accompanied by the very old guide Mr. Rasheed, you will notice like history is frozen here. Right from the drawing rooms, to the private area in first floor, all very well preserved. Amazing experience!! And on top of that the guide told me that he has met Quaid e Azam and served Mohatatma Fatima till her death. He was disheartened by the people who takes less interest in the history of Pakistan.
