Relax at the green sanctuary of Hilal Park, an attractively landscaped haven in the busy city that serves as the perfect spot for kids to play. The play area includes swings, slides, and a range of different rides, while a collection of shrubs trimmed into interesting shapes will delight the little ones. Sit on a bench and admire various flowers, which enchant with both their colors and their scent. You can get your daily dose of exercise with a run around the jogging track, then reward yourself with refreshments from one of the onsite stalls. • Good family park. Better for walking. Children swings also available. Nice Mosque available. Limited parking but paths infront of houses give some compensation, which still as a matter of fact might be a little bit of botheration for the people living. Opens till 10 pm.
  • Great place for a Sunday afternoon. Bring some coffee along sit back enjoy the breeze. I would like to mention here that parking is a problem here...it's very limited and there have been times when I've had to park a couple streets away but really worth it for a nice relaxing stroll in a very well maintained public park. Get some mosquito repellent when you go.
  • Very nice place for walk. A good family park. Open till 10 pm. Nice walking track of 500 meters. Has many places for children to play. Benches are there for people to sit and relax
  • Nice park with play area for kids and walking track. Nicely manicured garden and sculpted trees make for beautiful scenery and he best part is that there is a Masjid attached to the park with entrance from within the park making it convenient to offer prayers on between your activities in the park.
  • Nice place for walking or just relaxing. Had a waterfall at one time but no more. Walking track is hard and relatively narrow. With more people using the track, it gets a bit congested at times.

Where to stay in Karachi

The sprawling city of Karachi has a variety of accommodations able to cater to the relatively modest amount of international visitors it receives each year. By far the most popular place to stay lies close to the sea in South Karachi. This district contains two of the main middle class neighborhoods in the city, and a high proportion of its museums, venues, and restaurants. The main hotels sit over in the commercial districts close to the station, with some budget-friendly guesthouses and hostels sitting in their shadows.
